His experience includes youth development, church planting, nonprofit collaboration, and building partnerships with schools, churches, community organizations, and neighborhood leaders throughout Memphis and Shelby County.

Reverend Cooper has served North Memphis for more than a decade. In 2015, he was selected by Hope Church-Memphis to lead its North Memphis church plant. Hope City Church was launched  in 2016, where he continues to serve as Lead Pastor. His leadership has remained deeply connected to community outreach, youth development, and neighborhood engagement.

As Executive Director of Oasis of Hope, Rev. Cooper is committed to strengthening the organization’s impact through meaningful partnerships, expanded opportunities for children and families, and programs that respond to the needs of the community.
His vision is to see Oasis of Hope continue to be a place where people are supported, relationships are strengthened, and North Memphis families have greater opportunities to thrive.
